MER Corporation is a Moomjy family business founded in the early 1920’s and was formerly known as Barsamian-Moomjy, Inc. and is related to Middle East Rug Corp. 

MER specializes in hand knotted and hand tufted rugs and carpets from China, India, and Pakistan. 

November 13, 2003    ROBERT MOOMJY JOINS MER CORP.
SECAUCUS, NJ -- Robert Moomjy has joined MER Corp., according to  Albert Moomjy, president of the importing company.

From 1998 through 2001, Robert Moomjy  was a partner in Rug & Home, a furnishings and rug retailer in Gaffney, SC; prior to that he was with Einstein Moomjy for 14 years.

Robert Moomjy is Albert Moomjy's son. He graduated from Allegheny College in 1985 majoring in economics, and received a Masters degree from the Real Estate Institute of New York University in 2003.  

 “We look forward to continuing and expanding our business lines with all of our customers” said Albert Moomjy.
